Job Costing System

Our client conducted extensive research to find an off the shelf system that would meet the specific requirements of their business. Not satisfied with what was available they contacted our software development team at IBS and asked us to review their requirements and propose a solution. Not a company to shy away from a challenge IBS designed and implemented a system for our client that included the following components:

  • Customer and Supplier contacts
  • Job Records
  • Timesheets
  • Purchase Orders

  • Full MYOB Integration (Premier Version 6)

Membership Database

With over 4,000 members our client was quickly discovering that their existing system was not only difficult to manage but they were also unable to customise the system to meet the changing requirements of their business. The membership database that was developed and implemented by IBS included the following components:

Workflow Tracking System

Seeking a system that could be used on the workshop floor to track the workflow of a job our client contacted IBS to investigate the feasibility of developing a program that would meet their requirements. The system that was ultimately implemented included these components:

  • Management interface to view the current state of all jobs
  • Ability to create activities for a job
  • Ability to assign activities to tradesman
  • Set the priority of activities
  • Activity logon and logoff functions for Tradesman
  • Real time labour costing
  • Daily tradesmen timesheets
